The Canadian Somali Association of Toronto is dedicated to empowering and enriching the Somali community in Toronto through a diverse array of programs and workshops. Our mission is to foster growth, support, and connection, helping individuals and families thrive within our vibrant community.

  • Supporting Youth: Addressing the needs of young people by providing targeted assistance and resources.
  • Assisting Elderly Somali Canadians: Enhancing the well-being of elderly community members with a focus on health and wellness.
  • Promoting Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship: Fostering financial knowledge and entrepreneurial skills within the Toronto Somali community.
  • Helping Newcomers Adjust: Assisting newcomers to Canada in adapting and thriving in their new environment.

The Somali community in Toronto encounters a range of unique challenges that contribute to various negative outcomes. Despite efforts by organizations, commissions, and groups, these issues have not been fully addressed, highlighting the need for continued and enhanced support.

We also strive to encourage and foster leadership from within our own community. Our values are important as they guide our decisions and mission.
